10 Random Facts About Me

#1 I'm naturally loud and talkative. I talk a lot!

#2 I dislike it when others can't pronounce my name correctly, which happened all the time in Melbourne. So, I usually introduce myself as Cheryl in Melb. But to be honest, I'd prefer when people call me Shu Fen rather than Cheryl, because it sounds more cordial to me and it's a name being called since young.

#3 I write my feelings on my face. I'm disappointed of myself by the lack of ability to hide my feelings. That's why I don't really like to meet people when I'm moody, I tend to give people a bad impression. It's a difficult task for me to fake a smile when I don't feel like to smile.

#4 I can't swim.

#5 I'm a shy person in front of new friends, but I try hard not to be unfriendly. A few friends said that I gave them an unapproachable impression when I first met them, but they were surprised that I can be pretty crazy once we've got closer. I do not bite, seriously.

#6 When it comes to studies, I'm a nerd. The amount of time I spent studying for exam is insane.

#7 I don't snack. I don't crave for chocolates and ice-cream. I don't take soft drinks.

#8 I love going for a holiday! The places I want to visit before I die are Machu Picchu in Peru, Niagara Falls in Canada, The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt and lastly the beautiful Maldives which has a myth that the island will sink in 20 years time.

#9 The dream - I secretly hoped that I can be working in the fashion industry in the future.

#10 The reality - I'm 21, studying Bachelor of Science major in Biotechnology, specialising in Biomedical in the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology stream, in University of Melbourne. I know right. As much as how it sounds complicated, I do enjoy what I'm doing now. And, it's finally my final year this year! :D

EYE Y U NO RECOVER QUICKLY?

Hello there.

It has been a few weeks since I last written here, and the reason of not updating is - I was suffering from the blank post syndrome. And there is another thing, if you are following me in twitter, you might know that my right eye was also infected with stye since the eve of Chinese New Year, so I was basically very much out of the pictures.

I know right. That was shucks! I consider myself unlucky, as of ALL time, WHYYY the eve of CNY?! Which was also the day I flew to Japan. This made me really depressed and I almost lost the mood on my way to Japan. But then my happy meter totally cheered up when I was there, as I was overwhelmed by how interesting and advanced the place is. It is indeed an eye opening trip filled with lots of firsts, and I really wish to go back there again to explore more of that amazing place. Okay back to topic, so my immediate solution to taking pictures was the shades, although I truly dislike wearing it, because it made me felt like my world got dimmer. No choice, so I just have to #dealwithit. Not forgetting that I can neither apply make up nor wear contact lens, so these days are just my naked face and I.

Then..my right eye got worse during my 3rd day in Japan, as the lump on my eye-lid increases in size, which means more to cover and looking more hideous, so I was being..

#RAGE!

But thank god after that night, my right eye was recovering bit by bit, and of now it's about 80% recovered. So, I started to get back in taking pictures, with..one-eye covered.

Taken during the last day of the trip.

 :)

JUSSTTT..can't wait till my right eye completely healed! So I can be all out and about, and behaving comfortably in front of people. Haha yeah.
